Zepiceno The Priest & UNOM
Music is the salvation of many and as solitude finds new grounds, so does ZepiCeno. ZepiCeno The Priest a.k.a. Zachary Hankers, was born on December 11th, 1984. ZepiCeno grew up playing in Surinamese bands, accounting for the percussion and backing vocals. During this time, he found inspiration in his uncle, who at that time was a member of one of the biggest Surinamese bands, called La Rouge. ZepiCeno performed Surinamese music till he was about 20 years old. Around this time, one of his childhood friends would take him to reggae/dancehall concerts where he would meet with his next music venture, namely, reggae/dancehall. ZepiCeno started going to studio's where he discovered his confidence as a solo artist. Over the past year, he has been through many ups and downs and he has poured his heart into his first mix tape 'City Of The Priestah'. A tape that he recorded, mixed and mastered all by himself. He describes his songs as his own personal 'diary', one that he is now ready to share with the world.
In December 2011 he released a videoclip of his first song from his debut mixtape 'City Of The Priestah', callled Nuh Baddah.( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soTGcGjkwT0 )
